After he decided to become a monk, he excelled in reciting sutras, worshiping, repenting, banging, chanting, and performing the four major majestic rituals. He even memorized the entire Shurangama Sutra. They should be the best among the nuns. However, there is a problem that the abbot cannot correct – “homosexuality”.
I will call them nun A and nun B. At first, the two of them could not live without each other. They had to sleep next to each other, stand together in line, attend morning and evening classes in tandem, and sit together in the meditation hall and in the dining hall. , let’s put it this way, even when they went to the bathroom, the two of them were not separated. At first no one paid attention to it, but as time went by, the public began to talk and pay attention. Because even if the abbot sends one of them to do something, the other will definitely follow him. If he is not allowed to go, he will get angry. This discovery does not matter, but it affects the purity of all the nuns in the ashram.
Although the public didn’t say anything about it, they were always paying attention to the two of them in their hearts, but they didn’t notice that they were actually doing anything wrong. After the abbot talked to them many times and even criticized them, nun B began to alienate nun A. Unexpectedly, this turned out to be bad. Female nun A could not bear B’s alienation, and a dispute broke out between the two. Although they did not dare to quarrel loudly, they were often flushed with anxiety. Despite the quarrel, A still doesn’t allow B to leave even half a step, just like a mother caring for her child who has just learned to walk.
According to the two of them, their relationship started when they first met in middle school. It can be said to be “love at first sight.” Strange to say, we have never been apart since we met. When I got to university and started to live on campus, the two of them had bunk beds, but they often slept on the same bunk.
The nunjia said to the abbot: “As long as she is out of my sight, I feel uneasy. I also feel that this is abnormal, but I can’t control my heart.”
The abbot hoped that the old monk Miaofa could help solve this problem. The old monk was silent for a moment and then said: “The two of them were mother and son in their first three lives. The mother was kind and the son was filial, and their love was deep. In the next life, they became husband and wife, and their relationship became even closer, like paint and glue, and they stayed together for life. Because of their lustful intentions, they fell into one another in the next life. To the swallow, we stay together day and night.
The pair of swallows built their nest on a big tree in a temple, so they could listen to the sutras and Dharma every day. Only then could they transform into women together in this life, become smart and memorize them, and become monks and practice Taoism together.
If you practice well, you will be able to escape from birth and death in this life. If you can’t let go of being addicted to love for many lifetimes, you will fall into hell in the next life, and it will be difficult to contact Buddhism again.
At the request of the abbot, the old monk had a long talk with nuns A and B. When they understood the karma between them, they immediately vowed to let go and went to the main hall to seek repentance.
