The origin of babies crying

How does Buddhism view the act of eating meat? If you listen to this true story, you might gain a new perspective on eating meat. The newborn baby of a Taiwanese boss was punished by life in the sea because the family often ate seafood. He kept crying and the hospital couldn’t figure out the reason. Fortunately, one of their employees stumbled upon a Buddhist monk. Over the phone, the monk miraculously diagnosed the source of the problem and taught them how to use the methods of reciting the Buddha’s name and releasing lives to save sentient beings, eliminate sins, and calm the children.

A call for help triggered by a crying baby

One year ago during the Spring Festival, one of my former neighbors, Xiao Xue, suddenly called for help, saying that he went to his boss’s house in Tanggu Development Zone to give New Year greetings. It happened that the boss and his wife were facing Zheng, who was crying for two days straight and was only a month old. The baby is helpless. Because several hospitals could n’t determine the cause of the baby’s crying, he was so anxious that he had no choice but to call me when he encountered this situation. Additionally, I had already heard the baby’s cry on the phone, so I had no choice but to hand the phone over to Master’s hand.

Master’s miraculous diagnosis and treatment methods

Master asked Xiao Xue to hand over the phone to the baby’s father and then asked: “Does your family often eat fish, shrimps and crabs from the sea?” The other party answered yes, saying that eating seafood here is as convenient as in Taiwan. Master said: “If you can now resolve not to eat fish, shrimp and crab again, and recite Buddha’s name to save the fish, shrimp and crab you have eaten, your child will stop crying immediately.” The other party asked in confusion: “My child What does crying have to do with us eating fish, shrimps and crabs?” The master asked him again: “Buddhism is very prosperous in Taiwan, do you know nothing about Buddhism?” He replied that their family believes in Taiwan’s “Yiguandao” (a kind of Taiwanese religion). Religion), and “Yiguandao” does not prohibit eating seafood.

Master said: “The spiritual consciousness (commonly known as the soul) of the life in the sea that you have eaten is waiting for the opportunity to retaliate against you. Because your blessings have not yet been exhausted and you are young and energetic, they have turned to play with your children and transformed into various forms. This ugly image is used to tease your child. His two little arms are still dancing, which is to cover up the ugly ghost shape and make him cry. It is used to make you frightened, exhausted mentally and unable to survive. Good years to achieve the purpose of revenge. Almost all children under the age of three have naked eyes (ordinary naked eyes can see realms that adults cannot see. After the age of three, as the world’s desires increase, they are gradually blinded by material desires) . If you don’t want them to scare your children anymore, you and your wife must swear not to eat fish, shrimps, and crabs anymore, as long as you say a word, and then recite “Namo Amitabha” to the fish, shrimps, and crabs that you have eaten. “With the holy name, the child will stop crying immediately. I know you don’t believe it, don’t you want to give it a try?”

The other party hesitated for a moment and said reluctantly, “Then we will no longer eat seafood.” The master then taught him to recite the holy name “Namo Amitabha. He only repeated a few sentences, and the child’s crying decreased. , and gradually stopped crying. This made the Taiwanese boss to be deeply surprised and excited. He loudly thanked Master. It seemed that his wife also came to the phone and said “thank you” in a tearful voice. The master said to him: “Now the child will stop crying. From today on, you must recite the name of Buddha every day for the lives you have eaten, and release more lives in the future to eliminate sins and karma. Take the time to go to Dabei Zen Temple and buy some Buddhist books.” Read it.” He said he would definitely read it.

Xiaoxue’s gratitude and follow-up

Two days later, Xiao Xue took their car to see Master Miaofa to express his gratitude, but Master had left yesterday, so I asked them to send the gifts they brought to Dabei Zen Monastery as offerings.

Sharing this article is Dharma giving. The Buddha said that Dharma giving has immeasurable merits.
