Accept everything
When a man marries a woman, there are good karma and bad karma.
Give birth to children, collect debts and repay debts, and never come back if there is no debt.
In the summer of 1994, a lay protector in his 50s came to a temple in Hebei Province and confided his difficulties to the old monk Miaofa. He said that his wife, with whom he had a good relationship, began to have abnormal temper after giving birth to their first child. She always had a hard time with herself, often making noises, and sometimes beating her. She often scratched and scratched her, causing injuries on her body and face. Although she was very angry, she never hit her, and it seemed that she couldn’t hate her.
Later, a child was added to the family, and the situation became even worse. He could hardly enter the house and was often in a state of turmoil. I had no choice but to retire early when I got the chance. Before this, I had converted to Buddhism due to worries, so I moved to a monastery after retirement. After retirement, her salary was reduced. Except for the meal allowance, the rest was left to her to raise her two children who were in school. However, the reduction in salary further aggravated her temper. Now I am also sick, but I dare not go to the hospital because I have no money!
“I really feel that this world is too miserable. I beg the old monk to show me a clear path.” He said hopefully.
“Amitabha!” Master, who had been listening attentively, spoke, “In your previous life, when you were a human being, you made a living by selling piglets. You took your own sows to breed them, and you gave birth to piglets and sold them for money. Pigs are They give birth to each other in litters, and the piglets are sold in litters, causing the sow to suffer the pain of pregnancy and childbirth. At the same time, she suffers the disaster of losing her children again and again. Animals have feelings just like people. She was full of resentment and helplessness towards you at that time. When the sow could no longer bear children, you sold her and killed her. Think about it, all her children were sold and spent by you, and she died again. Such misery, will it let you go? So this life comes together again.”
The layman seemed very focused and excited and asked, “How should I resolve this enmity? I might as well become a monk.”
“You want to become a monk? First of all, you can’t let go of your two children, because you love them very much. If you don’t see them for three days or two, you won’t be able to sleep, right?”
“That’s right, Master.”
“But they have a very close relationship with their mothers. Even if you leave home, you will run home. By then, your situation will be even worse than now.”
“What should I do?”
The old monk smiled and asked, “Do you really want to resolve your grudges?”
“Of course, please ask Master for enlightenment.”
“Then face it with a happy mood, don’t fight back, don’t retaliate when scolded, return home submissively, and dedicate yourself to them willingly. Sincerely repenting of past sins can resolve heinous sins. In addition, insist on perseverance every day In the morning and evening classes, recite a “Ksitigarbha Sutra” every day to dedicate it to the sow and the many piglets you sold. You should also pray to the “Liang Huang Bao Confessions” frequently. Since you are retired, in addition to helping with housework, Putting your heart into chanting sutras, worshiping and repenting is the same as becoming a monk, do you have faith?”
“have!”
“Well, if you are sincere and sincere, the metal and stone will be opened. If you persevere, you can resolve your grudges.”
