It can maintain the “backbone” and is a simple and good way to prevent and treat neck and low back pain. My neck has been sore for a long time, and various treatments were ineffective. According to the method reported in the newspaper, I nodded and bent my waist 100 times a day, taking a break every 20 times, and recovered after a month. There is no abstaining from eating meat and fish, and there is no repentance. What is the meaning of this?

Answer: Diseases are generally caused by three aspects. First, they are engaged in a certain job or habit for a long time and become sick due to overwork. Second, they are diseases caused by the karma of killing animals and creating karma. Third, they are diseases brought by past lives. For example, for people who often write for long periods of time, if they use too much force when writing, their thumb and index finger joints will become sore. If they do not change their habits for a long time, inflammation will occur. For example, people who work in accounting or work with their heads down for long periods of time are prone to neck problems. People who like to overeat are prone to stomach and cardiac problems over time. Diseases caused by overwork and bad habits can also be called causal diseases – overwork and bad habits are the cause, and problems are the result. . If you adjust and change the “cause”, the disease will naturally be cured. “Adjustment and change” itself means correcting one’s mistakes after one’s mistakes are made. Isn’t it also a kind of “repentance”? You must be working with your head down for a long time, right?

“Nodding and bending” is an adjustment movement, so people who work in the same position for a long time should move appropriately in between. When worshiping the Buddha using the Buddhist method, every joint in the body is moving. , bend down and kowtow a hundred times in front of the Buddha every day, the effect will definitely be better than nodding and bowing. If you can try to quit eating meat, the diseases caused by the latter two reasons will also be improved or eradicated.

If you cannot kowtow a hundred heads at a time, you can gradually increase the number from less to more. I have seen people who kowtow in front of the Buddha a thousand to two thousand times a day. All the diseases in their bodies were wiped away, and their faces were filled with red light. I also saw a female lay practitioner in her early 60s who kowtowed 300 times in front of the Buddha (Tibetan-style full-body prostrations) in one day. She was as energetic as a young person.
