Qigong cures diseases and witches and gods

Someone once asked me: Buddhism can use the principle of cause and effect to make people realize their mistakes, change their ways and do good, thereby achieving the purpose of curing diseases and saving people. It is really amazing. However, there are rumors that witches, magicians, and once popular qigong masters who are still active among the people have cured people’s diseases. However, qigong and witches and magicians do not talk about cause and effect. What is the reason for this?

I told him that using the principle of cause and effect to treat physical diseases is not the ultimate goal of Buddhism, but only a means, or a convenient method. Through this method, people can believe in the existence of cause and effect, and thus consciously check their own words and deeds, avoid all evil, and practice all good. Not only can you live happily in this life and avoid disasters, but you can also get a good death and be reborn in the land of bliss when you die, and be free from suffering forever. One person’s kindness can benefit many people, and many people’s kindness can reduce crime and purify society. This is the ideal of Buddhism to help the world and save people.

As for the truth that witches and gods can also cure diseases, the Buddha made it very clear in the Fifty Types of Evil Demons in the Surangama Sutra. My explanation is very simple. Qigong masters and witches and divine men are also reincarnated in the six realms. For example, a real qigong master may come from the reincarnation of heaven, or the qigong master’s previous life may have been a cultivator with a good foundation. As soon as he meditates and practices in this life, his potential is “developed.” The characteristics of these people are: they are honest, compassionate, charge reasonable fees for treating people, and do not deceive people. They can use the righteousness they have cultivated to drive away the sick energy of patients. There are also some “masters” who use “Qigong” to cure diseases for the purpose of amassing money, hunting for sex, and stealing names. These people may “cure diseases at their fingertips” and confuse many people to worship them and make offerings to them, but they They even brag about themselves and call themselves “Buddha”, “Bodhisattva”, etc. Most of the previous lives of such people were demon kings, demons, witches, powerful ghosts and gods, flying demons, etc. mentioned in the “Four Pure Instructions” of the Surangama Sutra. When Yaksha and others come to the world, most of them use the guise of Buddhism to confuse sentient beings. This is just like the counterfeiters and sellers in society who always imitate reputable and well-known brands. As for those witches and gods, they are elves, monsters, evil people, or foxes, weasels, snakes, rats, etc., reincarnated into the human world, or possessing the human body. Because when he was an animal, he lay dormant day and night and often “entered silence” in the cave, so he could manifest some supernatural powers. After being reincarnated as a human, once he meditated and fell into silence, those supernatural powers were brought out again. But these people are often greedy for financial support and like to play tricks on others.

The above people (pretends are not included) can tell the people who come to ask for help a few things about the past and the future, or tell them about the diseases that people are suffering from, and they can use their power to cure diseases. It has an obvious effect and can confuse some people. So why do they make some people effective at that time?

First of all, let’s talk about why people get sick. Many sick people are suffering from diseases due to killing and eating meat. The spiritual consciousness (common people call it the soul) of the pigs, cattle, sheep, chickens, ducks, fish, etc. that were killed and eaten has nowhere to rely on because the body has been eaten. In order to take revenge, it attaches itself to the enemy who slaughtered and ate it. With this The more animals a person eats, the more spiritual consciousness resides in his body, and the energy becomes stronger and stronger. Gradually, he will feel uncomfortable or even painful in a certain part of his body, forming a lesion. At this time, you need to take medicine, injections or even surgery for treatment. If the patient is cured, it is because the blessings accumulated by the patient in the previous life are greater than the karma created in this life. After spending money and suffering, the old “karma” was forgotten. However, because the patient did not understand Buddhism, he used fresh fish and live chicken to “tonic” after getting sick. Although the “nutrition” replenished the body, at the same time, it also formed New grievances arise, so taking medicines, injections, and surgeries only temporarily relieves the pain, and another disaster is taking shape. Therefore, some patients feel that seeking medical treatment is ineffective, so they turn to God for divination.

The so-called “immortals” such as witches and gods are mostly reincarnated or possessed by foxes, rats, snakes, weasels, and hedgehogs. “The Treasure Confessions of the Emperor Liang” once said that people who came from animals exude the smell of animals in their previous lives. Because spiritual consciousness is interconnected, when chickens, ducks, pigeons, etc. living in a patient’s body, encounter a fox or a weasel and they will definitely smell the “qi” and run away. What will happen when the frogs and rabbits living on the patient see that the spiritual consciousness of the witch and god is a snake? It’s not just that we are intimidated and avoid it for fear of not being able to reach it. The spiritual consciousness of those large animals such as cattle, sheep, dogs, etc. will not be scared away by these “immortals”. Only when the patient invites the “masters” who have reincarnated into the reincarnations of ferocious animals such as dragons, unicorns, ligers, etc. Avoid. This is why people often comment that a certain master has great skills and a certain master has small skills. It is also the reason why qigong, witches and magicians can cure diseases.

But whether it is a “master” or a “great immortal”, they can only temporarily scare away the “disease”. Sooner or later, the enemy will come to your door, or live in the original location of your disease, or move to other parts. It may also leave you for three to five days, ten days and a half, or even longer, and come back to you, asking you to spend money with the “master” and destroy your wealth. This is why some patients ask a qigong master to give him Qigong for several “treatment sessions” in a row. Not only does he send a lot of money and gifts to the “master”, but he also spreads his name everywhere: A certain master has great Qigong power. When I stretched out my hand, I felt warm and very comfortable. He didn’t lie, but he didn’t know that this was his karma playing guerrilla against him and teasing him! Therefore, heretics who seek the Dharma outside the mind are not the ultimate Dharma and cannot resolve their karma, let alone escape from life and death. An analogy: I bullied one or more children when I was young, and they took their hatred to heart because they were too young to fight back. Twenty years later, I am old, but they have grown up, young and strong. When they seek revenge on me, my retribution will be revealed. At this time, I will seek help from the strong. When the strong see young people bullying the elderly, they will beat my enemies away with three punches and two kicks. But what about the future? A strong man cannot always be by my side, and my enemies will seek revenge on me, either by beating me violently or by killing me. If I met a wise and wise teacher, he would ask the young man why he hit an old man. After the young man explains the reason and gets my approval, the good teacher will first criticize my sin of bullying when I was young, tell me that being beaten today is the retribution I deserve, and teach me the principles of life. After I understand, I will be advised to admit my mistake to the young man and apologize to him as a sign of repentance and to compensate for the damage I have caused to others. The other party will definitely forgive me and no longer be my enemy. The enemies I am talking about are the sentient beings who have been killed or eaten by us, the good friends are the Buddha Dharma, and compensation means chanting Buddha’s name, reciting sutras, and delivering salvation to the harmed sentient beings after sincere repentance. I have talked about so many examples before, so I can guarantee that as long as you change your mistakes as soon as you know them, and do them as soon as you know them, you will definitely get immediate results.

Let me explain one more point. If you say that you have to recite Buddhist scriptures to get better from illness and cope with errands, but do not sincerely repent, it is of little use. Because when you reach the realm of spiritual consciousness (soul), you have the ability to “connect with other minds.” He knows whether you sincerely repent or not.

The disease caused by killing mentioned above is only one of the ten evil karmas. The other nine kinds of evil are also the causes of various diseases and sufferings. I will not list them. Please read the Ksitigarbha Sutra and the Liang Huang Bao Confessions to understand. I can tell all fellow practitioners with certainty that if we really understand the principles taught in the scriptures, we no longer need to look for eminent monks or people with supernatural powers to “seek medical advice.” Buddha is the great medical king, and the scriptures describe good remedies for 84,000 diseases and troubles in our lives, careers, families, and even lives. As long as we are willing to practice, nothing will fail. Originally there are no secrets in Buddhism. The true meaning of the universe and life is all stated in the scriptures by the Buddha. However, many people do not read Buddhist scriptures, but believe in witchcraft, supernatural powers, divination and fortune-telling, thinking that they are magical calculations. As a result, they spend money and effort without really benefiting from it.

Now let’s give another example to illustrate that Buddhist scriptures are prescriptions:

My father-in-law is a kind man, diligent and thrifty, and has never had any serious illness in his life. In his later years, he listened to my advice to give up meat and tobacco, and began to recite Buddha’s name. When he lived in my house, I would lecture him on sutras for several hours every day, such as “Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva’s Universal Door”, “Ksitigarbha Sutra”, and “Liang Huang’s Precious Confession”. When my father-in-law was eighty-six years old, his voice suddenly became hoarse and he had difficulty swallowing. When he went to the hospital for a checkup and a X-ray, it was found that there was a tumor growing on the outside of the esophagus, which was compressing the esophageal tube and deforming it. The tumor was found to be malignant and he could not undergo surgery because he was too old. The disease progressed rapidly, and soon it became difficult to swallow, and he even choked and bled. So I rely on infusions every day to maintain my life. My father-in-law has three daughters and three sons. They do not believe in Buddhism, but they are all very filial. My brother-in-law said to me, “There is nothing the hospital can do about my dad’s illness. It’s really unbearable to see him starving to death without being able to eat or drink. If you have any idea, just use it. We don’t object.” I was very happy after hearing this. Doesn’t this mean that I am willing to seek help from Buddhism? I immediately remembered the Great Vow of the Medicine Buddha: “When the Medicine Buddha Lazuli Light Tathagata attains Bodhi, by the power of his original vow, he will observe all sentient beings suffering from illnesses such as thinness, spasm, dryness, yellow fever, etc., or may be poisoned by the poison of disgusting charms.” If you see a man or a woman suffering from illness, you should devote yourself to the patient, take a bath, take a quiet bath, or take medicine. Insect-free water, chant the mantra one hundred and eight times, take it with him, and all diseases will be eliminated. If you ask for anything, you will get it if you chant it sincerely.” So, I wanted to treat my father-in-law according to the scriptures.

After obtaining the consent of the father-in-law. I opened the cover of the “Medicine Master Sutra” to reveal the portrait of Medicine Buddha on the inside page. I placed it respectfully on the altar table. I also brought a glass of boiled water and placed it in front of the Medicine Buddha statue. Then he dressed up and put his palms together, offered incense to the Buddha, knelt in front of the Buddha and prayed to the Buddha: “I sincerely ask the Great Merciful and Compassionate Medicine Buddha to bless my father-in-law. If my father-in-law’s life is not over, help him recover as soon as possible. If his life is over, let him drink water and eat.” , die a good death, to comfort my children’s filial service.” After that, I bowed three times to the Buddha, hung up my prayer beads, knelt in front of the Buddha and recited the “Medicine Master’s Mantra” one hundred and eight times, then held the water cup with both hands and walked to my father-in-law’s room. Go. Because this is the first time I have used this method, although I firmly believe it, I am still afraid that if it does not work, I will lose an opportunity to make my wife’s brother and sister believe in Buddhism. If I choke and bleed, it will be difficult for me, my son-in-law, to explain. . Therefore, I am still reciting the holy name of Medicine Master Buddha in my heart and seeking His blessings. Before and after I got to bed, I asked my father-in-law if he was still reciting the name of Medicine Buddha silently. After he nodded, I said to him again: “Please try drinking this glass of water. If you still can’t drink it, it means that I am not sincere in reciting the mantra. If it is not enough, I will recite it again; if you can drink it, it will be the blessing given to you by the Buddha’s power.” After that, I asked my father-in-law to drink water. At this time, everyone in the room was watching nervously, watching his father-in-law take a sip of water, slowly try to swallow it, then drink a little more, and swallow it again. At this time, the Buddha’s name filled my heart, and I still felt nervous. The people present must be the same as me. When my father-in-law took a decent sip of water and swallowed it, everyone’s tense hearts suddenly relaxed and they clapped their hands happily, while two lines of grateful tears fell from my eyes. The glass of water was quickly drank, and what was exciting was that my father-in-law’s voice became much clearer. My brothers and sisters may be thinking “inconceivable”, but I have determined that “Buddha is a true speaker, a true speaker, and a non-liar speaker.”

The next day, I gave my father-in-law soy milk to drink. Every time I drink water or soy milk, I will recite the “Medicine Master’s Mantra” one hundred and eight times. On the third day, I made a pot of Shandong willow leaf noodles, which was my father-in-law’s favorite. He hasn’t tasted salt in a week and I plan to give my father-in-law some soup. When I asked him, he actually asked me to serve him some noodles. Now that I can drink water, can I eat noodles? I was worried, but I couldn’t stop letting him eat. Because he had never been told about his illness, his father-in-law thought that his illness was getting better! I had no choice but to bite the bullet and serve him more than a dozen pieces of willow leaf noodles, and earnestly asked for Buddha’s blessing. After reciting the “Medicine Master’s Mantra”, I was nervous again, but my father-in-law actually swallowed it smoothly. In this way, after more than ten days of being able to eat and drink, the old man finally passed away peacefully without any pain.

I reported what happened to my father-in-law to fellow practitioners. First, I wanted to prove that “the Tathagata is a true speaker, a true speaker, a true speaker, a non-deceitful speaker, and a non-different speaker.” The “Tathagata” and “Twelve Parts” are correct. Prescriptions to cure 84,000 kinds of troubles and diseases of sentient beings in the nine dharma realms. As long as you believe deeply and follow it, you will be able to get everything you ask for and receive immediate results. The second is to break some people’s superstition and dependence on supernatural powers. Although many of the stories I told above involve supernatural powers, I want to tell you the truth that “if you don’t want others to know, you have to stop doing it.” Because it was only after I understood this truth that I returned to the right path and abandoned evil and followed good. In fact, only by strictly observing the precepts and going deep into the scriptures can we develop our wisdom. Buddhism is a wonderful Dharma. As long as everyone is willing to practice with reference to Dharma, everyone can obtain the wisdom and wonder of Prajna. People are naturally “wonderful”!
