What are items are important in Buddhism?

Buddhism consists of six main ways of behavior: giving, observing precepts, patience, diligence, meditation, and prajna. It is these six behaviors that are important in Buddhism.

So which of these behaviors is more important?

There is no doubt that it is Prajna. Why Prajna? Prajna is translated as wisdom in Chinese. In fact, it is not accurate to translate it as wisdom. I personally think it is more accurate to translate it as truth.

Why? Because only truth is different from other philosophies, and schools of thought, science and other religions?

You can’t talk about other academic thoughts. Philosophical thoughts are not called wisdom.

Then it is more accurate to call it truth, and secondly, meditation should be more important. We Chinese Buddhists also practice Zen, but practicing Zen is practicing Zen, but what is the purpose of practicing Zen? It’s not necessarily clear.

In fact, it is very straightforward. Meditation is used to personally experience and verify the Buddhist teachings of impermanence, selflessness, and emptiness (Nirvana), and to realize them. Meditation is definitely necessary. Because ordinary people have rough hearts and lack power. If you practice meditation, your heart will become very powerful and you will be able to experience the realm of Prajna, which is rarely experienced.

Sharing this article is Dharma giving. The Buddha said that Dharma giving has immeasurable merits.
