What are the three jewels that a Buddhist takes refuge in?

The Three Jewels that Buddhists take refuge in refer to Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha.

The importance of the Three Jewels of Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha is explained in the classics through metaphors.

The Buddha is like a good doctor, skilled in treating all illnesses.
Dharma is like a medicine, it can alleviate the suffering of all beings.
The monk is like a guardian who always helps all living beings.

Buddha

Looking at the Buddha treasure, if there is only Buddha treasure and no Dharma treasure or Sangha treasure, what can be used to educate and transform all living beings? Who will learn and spread it?

From the perspective of Dharma treasures, if there are no Buddha treasures and Sangha treasures, then who will prove the truth and who will practice it?

From the perspective of the Sangha Treasure, if there are no Buddha treasures and Dharma treasures, there is neither a method nor a purpose of practice. Why should we practice and why should we practice?

Sunlight, air, clean water. These are the three treasures of life.

Buddha, Dharma, Sangha. They are the three treasures that were born from the world, and they are all the causes and conditions for the salvation of all living beings. None of them can be missing.

Therefore, the Three Jewels of Buddhism, Dharma, and Sangha are a trinity and have an inseparable relationship.
